"There’s always something in the back of your mind and you question people’s motives. I did maintain a lot of friendships from school, but I did make new friends. It is possible to trust people. You just have to be cautious." Rupert Grint
"I wouldn’t mind bringing Vincent Van Gogh back from the dead and cooking him a meal. I’d love to talk about his paintings but I’d be more interested to find out why the fella chopped his ear off. I’d probably save that conversation for the pudding course." Rupert Grint

“When we were younger, we were always going back and forward from school filming so it wasn’t like Dan and Rupert were the only boys in my life. I know it would be of huge media interest if there was a pairing between us, but the three of us have grown up together and are just like siblings.”

Recently JK was having a lovely chat with Emma and she kind of cast a little bit of doubt on the long-term romantic prospects of Ron and Hermione — what did you think about that?

In a WORD…
"Theatre’s something I have always wanted to do, but it seemed like a big leap as I’d never done it before. This was the right script so I had to take it, although there’s been a lot of rehearsing. Thankfully, the other guys are all experienced theatre actors [Ben Whishaw and Brendan Coyle among them] and we are a tightknit group, so it’s taken a lot of the pressure off." -Rupert Grint about the play “Mojo” [x]
"I’m quite scruffy day-to-day. I only own one pair of shoes. They are Nikes. I guess shoes aren’t my passion. I have a lot of jeans that I wear on rotation. They’re all J Bran but I think they’re women’s. I order them online so I’m not sure, but they don’t make them any more. That’s made hunting them down hard to do." -Rupert Grint; The steady cash flow accrued during and since HP is apparently not going on his wardrobe. [x]

In his spare time, he makes artwork and designs T- shirts. But whereas some famous types would exploit their “brands” to sell sub-par wares to fans who’d buy their used tissues if it came from a reputable source, Grint, under a false name, submits his designs to legendary tee website threadless.com."It’s really hard to get something on there, and it would be the ultimate achievement to get one made," he admits. He probably wouldn’t turn his nose up at an Oscar, but the fact he’s so keen to have his creative endeavours recognised for their merit alone, and not because of who made them, tells you everything you need to know about the most down-to-earth man in film.
