Gay Marriage is finally legal in NY and all people can think off is that now Lea and Dianna can get married although neither is gay? This means so much to so many people. People that actually benefit from this and those fans saying those things feels like a joke to me. They don’t seem to understand what this really is about.
Ship them all you want but this is taking it too far for me.
Tonight is not a victory for "Achele". Tonight is a victory for the LGBT couples in New York who have wanted and waited and PINED for this moment. Tonight is a victory for little girls and boys who now can look at a little glimmer of hope in their futures - that maybe they, too, can dream of weddings with the boys and girls they love. For once in your life, stop making it about fandom. Stop making important and real and life-changing moments in history about the two celebrities that you wish were getting it on. Celebrate, yes, but celebrate for the real winners: your FRIENDS. Your neighbors. Your family. Celebrate for me.
