“I think part of the reason I’m a bit surprised (and enraged) at the lack of Rachel in episode 4 is what we know about episode 5 and what we saw in episode 3. We know Rachel’s going to be doing West Side Story, and Finn, in episode 5, but the last we saw of Finn and Rachel was Finn walking away from Rachel in the hallway, he was obviously disappointed and she was clearly upset. Those are serious emotions that should be addressed in a relationship, but instead we simply get them dancing around during LFN. So did they resolve their issues? Was an understanding reached? Does Finn still think it’s wrong for her to run for class president against Kurt? Was Rachel hurt that Finn didn’t support her in the election? They don’t even bother answering any of that, they just let it drop.. and have them hop around to Blaine’s performance together. They were cute and all there, but I was hoping for a legitimate resolution and some build up to their big moment in episode 5.
